Academics

Our School is supervised by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Office of Catholic Education.  Our teachers follow the curriculum developed by the Archdiocese, ensuring that our students are meeting age appropriate standards.  To learn more about these standards, please click HERE.

Academic Mission

The Academic purpose of Saint Raymond’s Catholic school is to provide our students with subject matter proficiency, critical thinking skills and the values necessary to become self-confident learners. Our approach involves four elements, which we believe will educate the whole child:

  • By guiding students through individualized, disciplined instruction.
  • By modeling appropriate learning behaviors in a creative respectful atmosphere.
  • By teaching and reinforcing the application of basic and analytical skills.
  • By creating an environment that fosters critical thinking skills.
  • Empowering students to make informed decisions.

Religious Mission

The Religious purpose of Saint Raymond’s Catholic School is to create a Gospel Environment by loving, by respecting one another and by worshipping together. Saint Raymond’s community strives to daily exemplify the values of love and respect. Our community makes every effort to listen to God’s calling. This vocation challenges each of us to serve God’s people. We share our love of God with each other and thus learn to love our neighbor and ourselves. We celebrate this love of God, neighbor, and self when we worship together as children of God. This love incites us to respect the uniqueness of each person. A cultural exchange among the members of Saint Raymond’s community ensues. Therefore, we challenge our children, who have been nurtured in this Gospel environment to become committed Christians proclaiming the Good News by their very lives.
